BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 390-382 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 12.34 g), Wast..., magistrate. Boeotian shield. Rev. FA-ΣT Amphora; above, barley grain; all within round incuse. BCD Boiotia 494-495. Hepworth 36. Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.

Ex Leu 11, 14 May 2022, 81 and Leu 74, 19 October 1998, 177, previously privately acquired by Dr. R. Maly from Dr. H. A. Cahn, who acquired it from the collection of G. Empedocles (1861-1951) in 1950, and from the collection of W. Lamb, Naville XVI, 3 July 1933, 1158.
